Graduation Gown Donation Program
To reduce clothing waste and make graduation more affordable, WWU is launching a Graduation Gown Donation Program!
After you graduate, you can donate your cap and/or gown to future graduating students by:
- Dropping it off at the donation boxes following the ceremony in Carver Gym and around Red Square. Look for large white boxes with the flyer below on them.
- Dropping it off at the Career Services Center in Old Main 280 (Monday-Friday, 9-5pm)
- Shipping it to the Career Services Center at:

Because WWU's Graduation Gown Donation Program is launching in Spring 2024, we do not currently have donated gowns to lend to graduating students. However, some departments have gowns that they lend to students, so we recommend checking with your department to see whether they have a gown you can use.
Yes! We accept gowns that are up to 5 years old.
Your donated gown will be lent out to future graduating students at WWU!
