Patrick has been employed with the State of Washington for over 20 years providing counseling, coaching, career exploration, and guidance to students and job seekers as a Vocational Counselor, Career Counselor, Employment/Business Specialist, and Human Resources Specialist. Patrick is enthusiastic about helping others to achieve their full potential through education and employment. He has been an advocate for systemic change, as well as underrepresented groups in the community and workplace. Patrick brings to the Career Counselor position a breadth of experience, interest, and enthusiasm for helping support Western students to successfully achieve their educational goals and vocational pursuits.

Patrick originally relocated from Port Townsend, Washington to attend Western Washington University as an undergraduate and achieved the dream of never leaving Bellingham. He graduated from WWU in 2009 with a M.Ed. degree from the Woodring College of Education and has worked in vocational services for several Washington State agencies since. A two-time WWU alum, his undergraduate degree is in Anthropology with a Sociology minor. When Patrick is off on his free time he enjoys family, friends, travel, music, gardening, classic cars, and dog walking.
